Topic: African-American acceptance into Ivy League universities. During the formation of HBCU’s, many African Americans were finally able to experience college in a place comfortable and directed towards their success. Many had tried but failed to get into Ivy League universities. Whether it was lack of acceptance or monetary roadblocks the percentage of minority students have always been low. Many people have been denied entry solely due to the color of their skin and not their work ethic.
