It wasn’t until Christianity was adopted by the empire that Christian art appeared in more official places. How did Christian art change when it went from the graffiti of a hidden group to the religion of an empire? (Give at leasttwoexamples.) Think about materials, location, subject matter, and the way Jesus is shown. How does art reflect a culture’s identity in our own time period?
