- Study the culture of the region your games will be held.
- Research forms of communication and final deliverables used in the Olympics
(such as tickets, signage, logos, architecture, banners, etc.) - Collect findings that highlight what makes the culture you chose unique (art, textiles, languages, mythology, music, customs, etc.).
- Create a plan of how these precedents may inspire your design solutions.
- Include a mission statement that underscores your goals and vision, along with detailing a strategic plan of action.
- This week you will turn in an initial draft. It is imperative that you do the bulk of your work this week, gather significant feedback from your peers in the Discussion Board, and spend the following week finalizing the details. If you wait until the last minute you risk having a project that has not been sufficiently thought out.
- The final report (Phase 1) will be due by Sunday at 7:00 pm
