The Age of the Depressed Young.
Depression is a significant mental health concern worldwide because of high prevalence rates, the chronic nature of the condition and difficult treatment and recovery. University students face many challenges including independent living, academic stress, as well as planning for their future careers and this predispose them to depression.
You are to write an investigative opinion piece as to why, more than ever before, young Malaysians are dealing with depression. Along the way, suggest, based on your own observation, how best to reduce the feeling of anxiety in the most creative and involve little to no use of money for such activities. Every student MUST submit an outline on or before Thursday, 2100PM so that you have an ample time to do your research and editing (a simple outline proposing the 5W1H if you want to be quick, or using the below outline if you have an idea formed in your head already upon reading this).

Over the course of your writing, make sure you are on track:
*A* - LEAD: Build a sense of anticipation about the rest of the story. Readers are compelled to read more.
*B* - DESCRIPTION: Sets the scene for the story and brings the people and places in it to life. A good description prompts a reader to create mental images in their mind. Any time you accomplish that, you're engaging the reader in your story.
*C* While good quotes are vital for news stories, they are imperative for features. Ideally, a feature story should include only the most colorful and interesting quotes. Everything else should be paraphrased.
*(+/-)* - THIS is to serve a reminder to all of you that quote (if you have any) sparingly and should not over do it.
