a) Describe the main activities performed by the database management systm.
b) For the following scenario, identify the necessary classes and draw a class diagram. The diagrams
should include the classes, their attributes, relationships and multiplicities. Add as many methods to the
classes as necessary.

modelling the bank operations:
• A bank has different branches
• Branches maintain current or saving accounts for customers
• The customers are given debit cards to use their accounts
• The bank runs a number of ATMs
