You will subnet the network
address 192.168.200.0/24. The network has the following requirements:
·
LAN 1 will require 100 host IP addresses
·
LAN 2 will require 25 host IP addresses
·
LAN 3 will require 10 host IP addresses
a. Divide the network, 192.168.200.0/24,
into equal sized subnets that supports minimum 100 hosts each. Use the first
subnet for LAN 1.
b. Use the 2nd subnet (Found in step a) to create smaller
subnets that support minimum 25 hosts each. Use the 2nd of the smaller
subnets for LAN 2.
c. Use the 3rd of smaller subnet
(Found in step b) to create smaller subnets that support minimum 10 hosts each.
Use the 2nd of smaller subnet for LAN 3.
d. Interfaces of router should
receive last valid address of the range.
e. Assign IP address, subnet mask
and default gateway to each PC. PCs can receive any available IP address from
the network they belong to. Check the connectivity between all PCs.
On each network
used for LAN 1, 2 and 3 find the IP address representing the Network, first and
last useable IP address, and broadcast address and complete the table below:
