Title : Edge Detection of different images with MATLAB
2nd level: Detect and outline the head of people in an image (eg. family photo). There can be only several people in the image.
3rd level: Detect and outline the facial features of 1 or 2 people in an image. There is no limit on the number of features. At least you need to outline the eye, nose and mouth.
For each level, you need to explain the principle of the detection apart from the code. You may provide some websites for support.
If time is allow, you can help me find some methods to detect the prostate boundary from 3D transrectal ultrasound images.
Remember this assignment are required to use MATLAB only. Please also provide the images if you use for edge detection.
