Identify one aspect of slavery and do a short paper describing this aspect of Slavery. In your paper make sure that you identify how it directly impacted “Enslaved Africans” and how it may have impacted their descendants. Some examples are: The Middle Passage, Slave Uprisings, Sexual Mistreatment of Slaves, Food and Housing, Treatment of Slave Children, Education of Slaves, Health & Welfare of Slaves, Family Life, Slave Music, Religious Practices, etc. The purpose of this paper is for you to use the resources in this class to find other, primary sources available to you online or at historical sites and museums available to you locally. Describe what you think are the "best" primary sources and summarize what they suggest was true about the aspect of slave life you have chosen to examine.
