Entity relationship diagrams (ERD) are widely used in database design and systems analysis to represent systems or problem domains. This ERD example shows the entities involved in a small loan system, which includes browser, lender, repayment, deadline, etc.
Micro loans are small loans, which is beginning to gain popularity especially
among borrowers in developing countries. The idea is to bring venture lenders
together using information technology. Typically, the loans will be used to finance
startup, development of the borrower’s company, or student’s education so that
there is a realistic chance for repayment.
