The purpose of this assignment is to help you gain a better understanding of how mental illness is portrayed to the general public through movies. Each review must be at least two pages long and written in 12 point font, double-spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides. Do not include a title page; simply write your name and the title of the assignment at the top of the first page. Each movie review should include the following sections: (a) brief summary of the movie; (b) analysis of the movie's portrayal of mental illness and mentally ill persons, (c) analysis of the overt and covert messages about mental illness that were conveyed by the movie to the public, and (d) personal insights and reflections you had during this assignment. Each movie review is worth 25 points, for a total of 100 points for the entire assignment.
