The topic I have chosen for my policy memo is the expansion of public transit from the inner city to the suburbs. such an expansion would give all of the citizens of the city access to good jobs and neighborhoods to raise their families in without transportation limitations. This expansion. This expansion would also have a positive effect on the city's finances as an increase in fairs would mean an additional stream of income for the city if operations we managed in house. This plan would also provide a source of new jobs in transportation, construction, and infrastructure.
