Globalization of Culture For your second portfolio paper, you will be writing a Research-Based Open Letter about globalization of culture. An Open Letter is a letter addressed to a person or a group of people AND intended for publication. Background: Your OL will combine elements of narration, summary, persuasion, and research to produce a paper that informs the public about your outlook on enriching local culture through globalization. Purpose: To think analytically about a cultural difference between the US and your home country. To conduct a survey asking for people’s opinion about the issue and, subsequently, to draw conclusions appropriate for the OL content. To research a topic that deals with globalization of culture and write an open letter explaining your observations and offering possible benefits and solutions.
