explaining the concepts. Is probably the most widely used book as an introduction to data
science. The code is in a programming language called which is still popular for some
business and financial firms but increasingly is being displaced by Python especially in big
data applications. You need to download this Python code to run the examples in Python.
Data Science from Scratch: First Principles with Python (GRUS). This book is not free and is
required for this course especially by those students that haven’t done any Python
programming.
