It is me; this unit is about business practice.
I have done a lot of presentations through the semester with group members on
zoom, so this easy is about my experiences that I went through such as
communication issues that I faced and solving problems with others (u can make
up stories) . Then, how to sole these problems in the future. The video that I
have sent u, gives good details.
Students will use critical reflection to bridge
theories, concepts and practice. A practical way to do this is for
students to keep a reflective journal (or simply a notebook) from which they
can note down their observations and ideas. They will use these notes to
develop and write a good reflective essay.
Reflective writing includes descriptive and
analytical writing however the focus is not on 'what happened'
(descriptive) or 'why something happened' (analytical) but more on
'how something influences future practice'. In order to write a good
reflective essay, students should avoid being too descriptive or overly analytical.
Instead they should focus more on demonstrating their ability to think
and reflect critically upon their experience and how this particular experience
influences and improves their practice
Industry engagement sessions provide
a platform for students to engage in activities and learn from it.
People learn by experiencing an incident, event or by doing activities. As
people critically reflect upon these experiences, they are able to
learn and understand how to improve their knowledge, skills or practice. In
this unit, the reflective essay is expected to enhance learning and allow
students to learn more about themselves when engaged in experiential
learning. Part of the reflection is for students to identify necessary
actions that they can undertake in order to improve their future performance,
skills or practice.
Students are required to write a reflective
essay based on their critical reflection of their group work experience in this
unit. Students are expected to reflect on how they applied skills
in problem solving, decision making and communication throughout their
group work especially now that they have to work as virtual teams. Provide strategies
and best practices of how to apply problem solving, decision making and
communication skills effectively.
