Response to “Kinga Gartner,” “Godless Science and Irrational Decision” is a very sensitive
topic for many people. A survey conducted with the adults of America in 2007, asking them
about their belief in creationism and evolution. The idea of creationism was approximately
31% and growth was just 18%. And by reading “Damned Lies and Statistics” I come to
know that media plays an important role is distorting the view of the wide world, which may
help some specific situations and hurts another’s. And also in some cases, statistics can be
used to alert people about rising crimes. The video, “Sociology, Science, and other ways of
knowing” gave a delightful vision of it.
