Simulate Mechanical Systems
Draw the Free Body Diagram and Derive the Mathematical Model of the
Mechanical System for the motion of the cart and the pendulum. Write all of your
assumptions.
Create the Matlab Simulink Block Diagram for the mathematical model above.
Copy the same here.
Simulate the Simulink Block Diagram created above for two external force inputs
(Sin and Pulse) with following specifications/ input parameters. Include a scope to
see both input and output in one screen. Save it for your reg no e.g:
Describe two applications where your experience gained from this practical or
extension of it can be put in to practice.
Prpose suitable sensors, actuators and controller for this system if you are going to
build the system, and prepare specifications.
