“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel” (Angelou, 2009). This statement has impacted my life for many years; I was blessed with an educator, Ms. Benson, whose profound love for her students touched my life. Ms. Benson had a warm inviting manner; she made each student feel special and important. Her words rang bells of encouragement; this installed confidence in me twenty-three years later.
