Private Security and The Law, Chapter 3, “The Law of Arrest, Search, and Seizure,” covers many areas that deal with Private Security Personnel.  Read, “The Law of Search and Seizure: Public Police,” followed by “The Law of Search and Seizure: Private Police” and the first section of “Challenges to the Safe Harbor of Private Security.” Provide an overview of the key issues discussed in the two sections on Private Police that could affect a private security officer while working for an employer on private property. Respond to the question in 300 words or less.  Then reply to the posts of two or more of your fellow students in a respectful and cogent manner.
