iii. Indicate the key dates in the case
iv. Address the existence of primary and / or vicarious liability
v. Indicate whether there was a single or joint tort-feasor
vi. Outline the basic allegations of the case; i.e. what is being alleged by the plaintiff
vii. Indicate the dollar amount and type of damages the plaintiff is seeking
viii. Indicate the defendant’s response to the allegations including, specifically, whether the defendant alleged any contributory negligence or voluntary assumption of risk
ix. Indicate the outcome (i.e. judge’s ruling) of the case including, specifically whether the judge felt the case met the five criteria for negligence action
x. Indicate the dollar amount and type of damages that were awarded to the plaintiff(s), if any
xi. Indicate whether or not you agree with the court’s decision, and why you feel that way
3. Know your case well enough to be able to respond to the instructor’s questions about it.
4. Your work should be organized according to the structure above; i.e. clearly indicate which section you are responding to. 5. Submit your work by the due date to the instructor in an emailed Word document or in the body of an email
