Research Components Students will research and select an emerging, innovative technology and discuss the impact of the technology on business (3D printing). Research Objectives To successfully complete this research project, you will be expected to apply what you have learned in this course and should include the following objectives: 1. Identify the 3d printing trends through scholarly and/or trade literature (minimum of four citations) 2. Understand the impact of 3d printing solutions on business 3. Identify the software and hardware component involved in this technology 4. Evaluate the 3d printing basic principles, concepts, and current trends and its role in the current business environment 5. Includes all of the main elements and requirements of the prompt and cites multiple examples to illustrate each element 6. Three or more IT concepts involved in 3D printing are correctly applied in three or more authentic examples/scenarios
