Provide your own definition of organizational culture. Explain (with examples) each of the four types of cultural manifestations discussed in Reading 35 in Shafritz et al. Discuss the resource dependence paradigm/perspective and its application to organizational theory. Consider the following: What does the term effective organization mean to you? Use the readings, as well as any individual theories you may have, to answer this question. Assess whether an organization to which you currently belong is effective or ineffective? Be sure to complete all relevant readings before beginning your written assignment. Answer the question you have chosen as completely as possible. At a minimum, three or four well-developed paragraphs are required for each question. Your answers should convey your understanding of the course materials.
