Scenario Jerkwater Community College is part of a rapidly growing community. The Computer Science department has a collection of robots that students often use for assignments in the various programming courses the department offers. The department has a policy that allows students to check out one robot at a time for up to two weeks, and it wants to build an application that keeps track of who has them checked out. The first thing they need to do is have a database that they can write a software application to interact with. The program will ultimately be run on a kiosk in the computer lab where students will come to check out robots or to check them back in. You are the lucky one chosen to build the database for the department. And so you sit down with the team responsible for the robots to determine what kind of database they need.
