Strategy formulation and
execution are intertwined. Strategies are by design but must emerge overtime.
Organizations need periodic strategy reviews to incorporate the execution
feedbacks and environmental changes. A strategy review process is essentially a
gap analysis and reflection process of performance results and targets. The gap
could result from operationalization, execution, or emerging strategic issues.
