The table rows from ‘product’ to ‘suppliers’ denote independent variables, whereas the row ‘performance’ denotes the dependent variable. Comment on the key differences between the variables in these three streams. Examine the diagrams developed to model each of the streams (Figures 2, 3 and 4). What is the function of these diagrams in the paper? Comment on any major differences between the models. Read pages 365-372 (the section on ‘Towards an Integrative model....’) and study the model itself (Figure 1). Comment on the way the model is presented and justified.
