If you could make the connection clearer in your empowerment section - emphasizing the psychology of it, I think you would meet the criteria a bit better. I would suggest avoiding all of the bullets and numbering, instead turn them into complete paragraphs to help the paper flow a bit better. Your references are good, but I think you need more information for each of them - where they came from/publishers, etc.
