Once you have completed Unit 2 and Assignment 1, you should understand reasonably well how the five moral theories may be applied to particular moral issues. When you undertake Assignments 3 and 4, you should consider which, if any, of these theories may be used in the analyses you provide. It is not necessary that you use these theories in your own analyses, because good moral analyses can be developed with or without them. But you should consider whether using one or more of them will help you to provide the best analyses you can, which
