Station A
Q1: (15 Marks)
Your company has been requested to evaluate the concrete
compressive strength of a parking garage structure. In a discussion with the
owner, the owner has suggested to take cores in different locations of the
structure. However, since you are an NDT expert, you have suggested an alternative
way of evaluating the strength without causing any damage to the structure.
Which NDT do you suggest to the owner and why? Rank the compressive strength of
A1, A2 and A3 from highest to lowest.
