The overall objective of this paper is for course participants to gain a deeper understanding of operating a hotel in an international destination. Understand how operating in a different country impacts the management functions, company strategies and compare them to Canada. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to further develop research, writing and presentation skills. Each student is responsible for choosing an international country, product, researching that topic, presenting the findings orally to the class, and submitting a formal written report by the date indicated above..
