The owner of a successful Mexican restaurant in Winnipeg, Manitoba tracks daily revenues for lunch and dinner. He needs someone to help him consolidate the data for last year. Specifically, he wants to compare quarterly totals by weekday. He also wants to take a closer look at the fourth‐quarter revenue.
1. In the Restaurant data sheet, in cell B2, using functions (there are several ways to do this) find the day of the week based on the date in A2. Your file contains two Lookup Tables that can be used to solve this problem. Replicate the solution to cells B3:B367.
2. You also need to use excel to help you tag the quarter for each one of those dates in A2:A367. In cell E2, using the information on Quarters in the Lookup Table sheet, indicate the quarter for the date in cell A2. Replicate the solution to cell E3:E367.
3. Create a Pivot Table in a new sheet named Qtr Dinner Revenue
