Introduction
The purpose of this project is to teach students how to read and understand their calorie intake. In this project, I bridged the activity by incorporating the students to research their favorite fast food restaurant. They were given the opportunity to create their own meal by adding all the special items they enjoy eating. Then they would collect, archive and present their data.
Procedure
As the teacher teaches the lesson, students will follow the PowerPoint presentation for guidance.
1. The teacher will explain the purpose of this lesson. The purpose is to track total numbers of calories we eat at our favorite fast food restaurants. We will then document our data into a Microsoft Spreadsheet for a presentation.
2. The teacher will instruct the students to open the internet explorer browser on their
computer. The teacher will allow the students to pick a restaurant below that they would
like to visit.
