The test will be available within a 24-hour window. However, the test is designed to be completed in 2hours.
To assist you further in preparation for the Phase Test, it will be helpful for you to prepare in advance two virtual machines from your existing ISO images as follows:
Server: The computer name for the Windows Server 2008 R2 standard should be XXXXXXXX-Server.
Client: The computer name for the Windows 7 Professional is XXXXXXXX-Win7.
NOTE: - XXXXXXXX is your student number.
This is an assessment of your practical ability to administer a network via a phase test.
Some scenarios will be given to you which will need to be implemented within the virtual machines.
You will be given tasks to complete which will require you to discuss with diagrams where required, steps, and to implement within the virtual machine.
For tasks that require you to do something in your virtual machine, you will need to capture screenshots showing the completion of the task as well as a discussion about what was done and any potential problems that could be encountered.
