Grading Considerations
Content is the key to success on this
project. Simply throwing together a
WordPress site is not enough. All blog
posts need to be well written and carefully thought out to provide your defined
target market with real value.
Three of the six blog posts should be
original content with a minimum of approximately 750 words. Studies have shown that 1,400 – 1,750 word
posts are the most effective so aim for that goal if you can. See the articles
below:

Much of the grading of this project will
relate to the quality of the blog posts with most of the weighting on the 750
word and video posts. Refer to what you
learned from the HubSpot Inbound course, Playlists and in-class discussions. You can also refresh your memory with the
following blog post.

Content for the remaining blog posts is up
to you, but must be on-topic, relate to your target market and shares should
include a paragraph or two of commentary or introduction (approx. 200
words) explaining why they are relevant.
One of your long posts must be an original
video blog and the depth of content should be equivalent to a written post.
Note that you do not need to narrate or appear in this video – it can be as
simple as a converted PowerPoint presentation or you can be as creative as you
want with the assistance of the Seneca Sandbox team. I suggest you get started on this early in
your project.
