Integrated Assessment Requirements for DCI and AD

Submission of Written Assignment and Assessment DateAll assessment dates assigned are considered confirmed. All written assignments must be submitted at least 5 Calendar days before the assessment. If the written assignment is not received 5 Calendar days before the assessment date, your timeslot may be given up to another candidate. You may be slotted to a later time of the day or another scheduled date/time.


Candidates will be assessed on their competency in the Written Assignment and Oral Presentation for: 

  • Develop Curriculum and Instruction for Adult Learning Programme (DCI) (60 min)  
  • Develop and Review Competency-based Assessment (AD) (60 min)


Specifically for the module on Develop Curriculum and Instruction for Adult Learning Programme (DCI), candidate is expected to complete a written assignment and an oral presentation as described below. 


I. The Written Assignment 

The Written Assignment to be submitted comprises 4 parts (A to D) as outlined below. The curriculum and courseware developed should be competency-based1 . Assessors shall ensure that elements of each part meet the assessment requirements outlined in Part 6, according to the PSs and UKs.

  •  UK 1 Process of curriculum development (Application) 
  •  UK 3 Parameters of curriculum design (Analysis) 
  •  UK 4 Stakeholders in the curriculum design process (Analysis) 
  •  UK 5 Factors and ethical considerations impacting curriculum design (Analysis)
