It is very important to describe how they use their three basic elements: what is captured,what is analyzed, and reported! Pick three of the IDS requirements and describe why each isimportant in terms of IDS functionality. Tripwire is a host-based IDS which operates on files. Explain how the three components of all IDSwork using tripwire as an example.
