ENG4C Current Issues: Report
There have been
some questions from students asking for more guidance in addition to what is
presented in the course content, so you can use this document to give you a
better idea of what’s expected.
In Unit 3 you are
asked to watch a non-fiction film (documentary, informational video, movie
based on real life, etc.), to make notes while you watch the film and focus on
an idea presented within the film to research more about.
In this assignment,
you will choose, gather, organize, write, support, reference and finalize your
findings surrounding an interesting topic that is presented in your chosen
film.
This assignment
mirrors many of the skills in the final Culminating Assignment, so you will
want to pay particular attention to the skills learned in this unit in order to
apply them to your final course task.
