This assignment tests your ability to apply course concepts using the Stata software. This assignment is based on Units 3 and 4 in the course. Using the course datasets, you will be required to answer a series of questions
You will be provided with some of the relevant Stata commands that you will need. It may be
useful for you to use the “help” function in Stata, and/or to look up the command in the Stata
reference manuals (which are available within Stata as PDFs), or Google. The weekly tutorials
will provide instruction on the use of Stata; however, the teaching assistants will not assist you
with the preparation of your assignment..
This assignment may be completed individually or in groups of up to three students. To
access the assignment submission dropbox, you must join a group on the MyLS Groups page,
even if you are submitting the assignment individually. Students who choose to work in a group
are responsible for forming and managing their own groups.
The assignment is to be submitted via MyLS.
The name(s) of the student(s) preparing the assignment must appear clearly on the title page of
the assignment. Any “group member” whose name does not appear on the title page will not
receive a grade for the submission.
