CONCEPT NOTE:
1. Snakes & Ladder
This is an activity which can be conducted to
gather the crowd. Snakes & Ladder consists of a Snakes & Ladder Board
and a dice. Each number on board will be named by a cause/issue. After the
approach, the fundraiser will ask the prospect to dice. In the picture below if
a person dices 2 and if it is nutrition on No.2, then the fundraiser will make
the prospect understand the difference between what nutrition support a
privileged child have and unfortunately the underprivileged child doesn’t,
creating empathy and will continue the presentation to get the sign up to make
a difference in lives of the underprivileged.
2.
Photo Exhibition
A number of photos will be displayed in the
premises with standee (photos of coffee table book) which will attract people
and as people come near to watch the photos, the fundraiser approaches and
explains the vision & mission of organisation, creates empathy and will try
to get a support to make a huge impact in the lives of the underprivileged.
3. Graffiti Wall / Signature Campaign
This
is the most common activity used to increase supporters. To support a cause
people come forward to write their thoughts or sign or also use hand print. In
this activity different colours will be allotted for a different cause (Ex.:
Red for Education, Green for Health & blue for livelihood). A fundraiser
will now approach a person and ask the prospect to write a thought or sign on
board or can also ask the prospect to use hand print to support a particular
cause. Simultaneously he will be using his pitch to close the prospect and to
sign up a form.
