This is an individual assignment. Obtain the latest annual reports for two Bursa Kuala Lumpur listed companies in different industries (for example the telecommunication industry and construction industry) (https://www.malaysiastock.biz/Market-Watch.aspx). In a report, assess the corporate governance (CG) disclosures in the annual reports of the two companies that you have chosen and elaborate on which aspects or components of the CG mechanisms are likely to guard against corporate failure. You are also required to look at the components of the CG disclosures by the two companies and comment on any instances where best practice recommendations with regard to nomination committees are not followed. In your response include your opinion as to whether, and if so why, CG mechanisms represent a key feature in attracting investment in or recruitment to Malaysian listed entities.
In your answer, you are expected to provide at least four scholarly JOURNAL ARTICLES as evidence to
support your arguments.
