2. Recode POLVIEWS into two response attributes, Liberal and Conservative (Moderate can go as system missing). Run univariates on it…has the level of measurement changed? Why or why not? 3. Manipulate your sample using the “select cases” command. Select only those respondents who are above the age of 20 and are MALE. Now, re-run a frequency distribution on # of children and see how your sample and sample size changed from the original variable.
