Task Details/Description:
Read the case study attached and PREPARE a 3000-word individual consultancy report for the Senior
Management Team (SMT) of ADP addressing the following tasks:
§ Using a range of Contemporary
Research Evidence, Organisational Development Models and or Frameworks and Theories,
critically discuss the strategies required to address the issues confronting
ADP. (70 marks)
§ Identify and critically
analyse the leadership and management behaviours you consider pivotal to the
achievement of the change needed to achieve the required organisational
transformation. Provide a rationale for your proposition. (30 marks)
Module Learning Outcomes Assessed:
1. Critically evaluate the
impact of organisational politics, power and conflict and how these interact to
impact on organisational development, organisational efficiency and organisational
effectiveness.
2. Conduct organisational
diagnosis and critically evaluate the impact of organisational design and
structure on the nature, functioning and effectiveness of organisations.
3. Critically appraise
different organisational contexts and recommend the appropriate design and
implementation of effective intervention strategies
4. Appreciate the role of
consultancy and critically appraise its effectiveness in facilitating the
required organisational development interventions.
