Waiting in lines for extended periods of time results in inconveniences and a waste of what may be the most important resource of all, time, for all consumers. Thus, reducing wait times within Starbucks and optimizing a simulation of the processes within those restaurants could result in shorter wait times for customers and larger profits for the restaurants. Data of the wait times in line and the service times were collected at Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts restaurants within New Brunswick through observational studies. Therefore, we aimed to observe the operational process of this coffee service and present the systematic solution to the problem of timing improvement with the aim to improve the observer service process of Starbucks in the summarized conclusion at the end of the report.
