Description
Karina was assigned to create a website plan for a local nonprofit organization. She must ensure that the site includes the following features: A message stating the purpose of the organization. An online form that will receive personal information from each employee, volunteer, and stakeholder. These forms will be placed into a secure database. Karina’s first step was to discuss the plan with management before presenting it to the board and stakeholders. She had representatives from the following departments: Marketing IT Web Development After much discussion, all parties were able to agree on a site plan. After creating the site plan, Karina’s project manager asked her to help present this plan to the board and stakeholders. Karina decided to use the following:
Web page examples provided via an overhead projector A handout listing the names of the stakeholders, as well as projected costs and timelines The board and stakeholders were very pleased, although they did have a few specific feedback points that they asked Karina to consider. The project was approved and Karina was able to work closely with the project manager to create the site.
