Analysis Following Iceberg Model
Our group took the time to structure our analysis on the
disadvantages of Discrimination against aboriginal people and using the iceberg
model in which we are going to research and discuss the following questions to
our acknowledgement and will also help us to plan for an appropriate social
action for this social issue:
- How
do we know the issues exist?
- What
are the individual acts that contribute to the issue?
- What
are the collective acts that contribute to the issue?
- Who
perpetuates the ideologies?
- To
whom are the ideologies applied to?
- What
are the ideologies that exist around the issue?
- What
institutional, state/provincial, or structural systems are utilized by
ideologies to maintain power?
- What
are the structures that maintain the problem?
