Question 1    (5 marks)                  

With details from the project found in the Case Study, create an Activity-Based Schedule. Utilize a start date of February 2020 and assume that activities “documentation” and “flow charts” can be completed in parallel with other tasks.

Question 2    (2* 2.5 marks OR 1*5 marks)      Answer both (a and b) OR c           

a.    From the details shared in the case study, it is clear that a part of the work in improvement of MCCS Policy is being outsourced. Describe the process involved in this purchasing and procurement process. (Hint: speak in-terms of SOW and RFP)

b.    Describe the importance of a Quality Management Plan for the Crosby Manufacturing Corporation in-terms of the MCCS improvement project.

c.    With details found in the case study, create a budget for this project over 18 months. Assume a total cost of $500,000.00. Assume also that the bid-process, testing and documentation will be handled in-house, at no cost to the project, and that hardware and software costs are paid to the vendor with a  25% deposit, 25% due the month of completion, and the remainder paid monthly during the duration of the work

Question 3    (6 marks)                  

This question pertains to risk analysis of the project. Create a Risk List of any 3 risks based on the details shared in the case-study (use template). For the risks identified, create a Risk Response Plan (use template).

Question 4    (4 marks)                  

Assume that it is Week 8 of the Execution Phase of your group project. At the end of Week 7, you find yourself ahead of schedule by a week. You have spent $37,500 of your project funds where you had expected to spend $34,000. You have a team member who has been ill for the past 4 days and you are unsure when they will return to work, however their work is not set to begin until Week 11. Additionally, a key vendor is rumoured to be facing financial difficulties, although they assure you that it is business as usual. One of your stakeholders has brought this financial concern to your attention.

Create a basic status report for Week 8.

a.    Using an everyday example, demonstrate a finish-to-start, start-to-start and finish-to-finish dependency.

b.    What was the largest challenge faced by your team when you were executing your Major Group Project?

c.    Create a Network Diagram for the activities described below. Identify the Critical Path and calculate the Project Duration.
