Objective: To write an essay comparing and/or contrasting two subjects.

Must be written in the third person
Use at least three points of comparison or contrast to discuss your two subjects.
In an essay like this, remember to use transitions!
Follow the subject-by-subject or point-by-point structure, but not a combination of
both.
Counting your introduction and conclusion, you should have between five and eight
paragraphs in your essay.
You must discuss your points in the same order for each subject.
Must include a thesis statement.
Paragraphs have a topic sentence and at least 6 well developed supporting sentences.
