You are
provided a dataset from 55 participants who took statistics course. The
researcher aimed to investigate whether lecturing in the morning or evening
influenced students’ grades. Further she examined whether testing students in
the same room as or different room from where they listened the lectures would
influence their grades. In this dataset the lecture time (as Morning and
Evening), the test room (as Same and Different) were coded. Your job is to
conduct the appropriate analyses to answer the following questions:
1. Does the lecture time influence the patients’
grades? Is there any difference between morning and evening groups in terms of
their grades? If so, what is the direction of differences? You need to answer
the questions for both same room grades and different room grades separately. To
answer this question you need to run the appropriate analysis, report your
findings in APA format and discuss
your findings in a paragraph.
2. Does testing in the same room or different room
influence students’ grade? You need to answer this question separately for
morning group and evening group. To answer this question you need to run the
appropriate analysis, report your findings in APA format and discuss your findings in a paragraph.
3. What would be your advise to the students to
have the best grades depending on the findings.
