You are required to demonstrate how you have effectively built up your research capabilities during the course of the module.
You will undertake a 2500 words research based assignment from a choice of options that are linked to the substantive topics covered during the module.
You will be expected to demonstrate a wider understanding of the commercial world. You will need to show clear links from your research findings to Business Law theory and legal principles.
You will need to demonstrate clear knowledge and understanding of your chosen topic area with reference to a wide range of sources including, but not limited to, current academic commentary and journal articles, contemporary case law decisions and judicial opinion as well as media reports on your chosen field of research.
Assessment Regulations
Your research project should:
not exceed 2500 words in total excluding footnotes and Bibliography (Secondary Sources);
list your Primary Sources in two separate tables or appendices: Case Law and Legislation;
include a fully alphabetised bibliography of secondary sources by author;
be fully referenced in line with OSCOLA referencing guidelines; and
be submitted electronically via a Turnitin link on the Blackboard VLE.
