Q-1: You have been hired as an IT-Infrastructure Security Engineer in one of the SMEs. The enterprise that has hired you wants to build email and web servers using an operating system installed on two physical machines. According to your role, you are asked to develop the following:
• A comparison between the available operating systems for servers. The comparison should consider the reliability, the cost, the provided security level., etc. On scientific foundations, the comparison should decide which operating system will be used. Therefore, this comparison should be informative and supported by references?
• The enterprise aims to adopt a cloud computing model and also a virtualization model. Please reflect on building these two servers using these two models with respect to cost-effectiveness, security, and usability. Security-oriented recommendations for using the two models are also needed.
