Important
You must use word processing software (such as Microsoft Word) to prepare the assignments, and submit the assignments via the Online Learning Environment (OLE). All assignments must be uploaded to the OLE by the due date. Failure to upload an assignment to the OLE in the required format may result in the score for the assignment being adjusted to zero. According to the University’s policy, no extension of the due date will be allowed for the final assignment. This policy will be strictly enforced. Any late submission of the final assignment will result in the score for the assignment being adjusted to zero.
Notes to students
1. You should keep your answer close to the expected length. If your answer is too short, you will not be able to answer the question in a satisfactory way. If it is too long, your tutor may choose not to mark the portion significantly beyond the expected length.
2. Identify the issues in your answer. There are often several issues in one question.
3. State the relevant legal principle applicable to each issue, including the relevant case law and legislation, then analyse the facts and apply the appropriate principle to them.
4. Your answer may cover additional matters not discussed in the study units.
