Your paper will include a discussion comparing and contrasting the information you found about the focus area of your critical inquiry question and how related topics were trending in each of the contexts you explored. In addition to these observations, your paper will also discuss your insights and conclusions, specifically, what you have concluded about the larger context for your major from: the trending topics in online media intended for a general audience and how they're portrayed, the information on the web sites of two professional organizations for your field, the information about current top influencers in the field, the information in reviewed publications. Format your paper using the appropriate style guide for your major. The majority of the majors at GSC use American Psychological Association (APA) format. The English and Humanities majors use Modern Language Association (MLA) format. History majors use either MLA or Chicago. The GSC Library & Research Commons provides additional information about following the appropriate style manual for your major: Style Manuals. The body of the paper should be a minimum of 5-7 pages. (Feel free to exceed the minimum page requirement if you want your paper to go more in depth.) Correctly cite sources of all information and ideas taken from someone other than yourself, whether directly quoted, paraphrased, or summarized:
